Jungian analyst and author Vlado Solc will share his insights and research into the psychological dynamics and causes of religious fundamentalism and fanaticism. He will discuss how dark religion leads to profound conflicts on both the personal and cultural levels --including terrorism and wars, while describing the broad cultural and religious forms surfacing today. He describes spirituality as an important part of human life and one of its most essential needs; he will be outlining a healthy spirituality as well as how it becomes "dark" when it denies, ignores, or separates itself from its vital roots.
